Your work week can quickly become busy and stressful which can easily affect your dog's
routine or exercise needs. A dog's natural behaviour is to chew, dig, bark, and jump, especially
when feeling bored, lonely, or not having an outlet for its energy. Providing regular daily
exercise discourages these behaviours which reduces anxiety and stress for both you and
your pet!

The safety of your dog, as well as respect for the environment in which we walk, is the
highest priority of KJ's Pet Services. Our dog handlers are trained in pet first aid and will
always carry a cell phone and first aid kit in case of emergency. Any dogs riding with KJ's Pet
Services will travel safely and secured. We request that vaccinations be kept current and
include rabies, distemper and bordatella (kennel cough) or that your dog receives annual
titer testing.

Free initial consultation with you and your dog
|
|
|
Prior to booking your dog walking or pet sitting service we will conduct a short
consultation session. This will ensure your questions are answered and your pet’s health
and training experiences are recorded. In addition this will help us to create a bond with
your pet, and ultimately, for you to feel comfortable with KJ’s Pet Services.

|
|
|
Dog walking available Monday-Friday, not including statutory
holidays.
|
|
|
1. Group Dog Walk
|
|
|
$20.00 per dog ($5.00 for additional dog in same family)
|
|
|
Group walks are great for socialization and plenty of exercise. KJ's Pet Services prefers
to work with smaller groups, a maximum of 4 dogs per walk, to provide more personal care
and attention to each dog, while still allowing for the dogs to socialize and play with
each other.

All dogs in group walks must have up to date vaccinations and be spayed or neutered. Flea
prevention is required from May to November.

2. Private Dog Walk
|
|
|
$30.00 per hour
|
|
|
Does your dog prefer to stop and sniff every tree, roll in the grass, chase a ball at the
park, or go for a power walk? Then maybe a private walk is the right solution for you. Private
walks are in your own neighborhood and tailored to your pet's preferences. Ideal for puppies,
senior dogs or those who want undivided affection showered on their furry family member.

3. Mid Day Visit

If your dog finds your work day long, KJ's Pet Services can provide a mid day visit
which includes:

A quick 20 minute visit to prevent accidents and ensure pet is all right |

A daily report card to owner |
|
|
|
This service is only provided within Peterborough town limits.

Exceptions to the above services:
|
|
|
Puppies under 16 weeks of age are not recommended for group walks until fully vaccinated and
leash trained. Dogs must have a good leash manner or will need to start with private walk
before group walks to have behaviour assessed and group matched. No aggressive, injured, or
ill dogs will be accepted. We have the right to refuse dogs that have not been spayed or
neutered.
